Casual Vacancy – Thame North

A Casual Vacancy has occurred for Thame North due to the resignation of Sonja Francis who retired from the Town Council after the Council meeting on Tuesday evening, to explore new pastures.   Thame Town Councillors and Officers thanked Sonja for her enthusiasm, passion and work ethic, while she represented the Town Council, the Thame North residents and Community of Thame.    We wish her and husband John good luck on their next life adventure.

If any ten electors for the Thame North ward give notice in writing to the Returning Officer at elections@southandvale.gov.uk by 24 March 2021 requesting that an election be held, the vacancy will be filled at a by-election.

If no such notice is received, Thame Town Council will fill the vacancy by co-option of a suitably qualified person.
