Annual Town Meeting 2022
This year’s Annual Town Meeting is an opportunity for Thame residents to express their views and ask questions about any issue in the town. It is not a meeting of the Town Council, it’s a meeting of the electorate. Unlike normal Council meetings, you do not need to submit your questions beforehand, instead you can just turn up and take part in the Open Forum. If we can’t answer your question straightway, we will guarantee to provide an answer, in writing, later.
The meeting will take place in the Town Hall Upper Chamber on Tuesday 22 March, starting promptly at 7.30pm so please arrive in good time to sign in. The agenda for the meeting can be viewed here.
7.30pm – Mayor’s Report on what the town and Council have achieved in the past year and our aims for the future
7.40pm – Presentations on:
- Successes and failures of the Thame Neighbourhood Plan
- Thame Green Living
- Thame Youth Projects
8.10pm – Open Forum with representatives from the Town, District and County Councils. Our infographic, covering the different responsibilities of the different tiers of local government may give you some ideas for questions.
