Thame Town Council now has an Environmental Project Officer

In 2020 Thame Town Council adopted the Thame Green Living Plan, a 10 year plan for a cleaner, greener Thame – find the full version of the Thame Green Living plan. Since then, some incredible work has already been achieved, driven a lot of the time by volunteers and community groups, supported by Thame Town Council. Over the years (around juggling the impact of Covid-19) it has become clear that a dedicated role at Thame Town Council would enable a more coordinated approach to achieve the outcome of this plan, both internally as well as within the local community. Thame Town Council therefore established an Environmental Project Officer role, with the current Market Town Coordinator, Becky Reid moving to fulfil this new position from 30 August. The role she leaves behind is not being continued in its current form, however the majority of the duties of that role are being continued in some way by members of the expanding staff team at Thame Town Council.
