Switch-on event an amazing success!

Last Friday evening saw hundreds of residents come together for the Christmas lights switch-on. Up on stage with the Mayor and Joe Middleton from Lightfoots Solicitors, were Molly Meddes, Evie Mae Dinnage and Harris Bradley who were nominated by each primary school to push the plunger (all pictured here before the switch on).

Paddy Harris and Anthony Taylor did an amazing job of keeping the crowd entertained while they waited for the lights to be switched on.

There was Christmas music courtesy of Thame Concert Band, mulled wine from the OX9ers, reindeer stilt walkers and a variety of street food stalls by AyStrEAT Meet.

Thame Town Council is very grateful to Lightfoots Solicitors for sponsoring the switch on event and to ASM Auto Recycling for providing our stunning Christmas tree.
