Charity Shop Fly Tipping

January is always a good time to clear out the old and start afresh, however please be mindful of your charity shop clear out! 
Many charity shops are opening up each morning to find tons of large bags full of clothes, kitchen items, and bric-a-brac….even when they have a sign kindly asking for donations to be brought in during opening hours!

Sometimes it’s not always easy to fit trips to the shops in your working day or weekend, but please do not leave bags outside our charity shops.
It is fly tipping and you can be prosecuted and fined for this! 

Most of the charity shops in Thame are unable to re sell the contents of bags left overnight or out of hours, as they are items of fly tipping, meaning it’s even more of a waste for the lovely volunteers who are working in Thame’s charity shops.

Please only drop off bags during opening hours! The town does have CCTV and we would hate for any prosecutions and fines to be made!
