HRH The Duke of Gloucester

His Royal Highness, The Duke of Gloucester, will visit Thame on Tuesday 11th June for a ceremony to mark the unveiling of an additional thirty names on the Thame War Memorial.

Thame Cadets will unveil a new display lectern, while students from Lord Williams’s School will read the thirty names being added to the memorial.

The laying of wreaths will be conducted by:
His Royal Highness, The Duke of Gloucester, Cllr Alison Rooke – Chair of Oxfordshire County Council, Cllr Kellie Hinton – Chair of South Oxfordshire District Council, Cllr Andy Gilbert – Thame Mayor, and Mr Alan Hickman for Thame Remembers.

Thame Town Council is inviting members of the public to attend the ceremony, which will commence at 11.00am on Tuesday, 11th June at the Thame War Memorial.

Thame Town Council advises that the Information Centre at Thame Town Hall will be closed on Tuesday 11th June from 10.30am – 1.00pm.
