Remember when Thame had its own tart?

Created by John Fothergill, innkeeper of the Spread Eagle from 1922 – 1931, the tart featured a shortcrust pastry filled with raspberry jam and lemon curd. It was served with whipped cream and berries. Something to try over the weekend, perhaps?
