Councillors Enjoy Community Day at the Market

Thame Mayor, Cllr Andy Gilbert and Cllrs Linda Emery and Mike Dyer were on hand for the annual Community Day at Tuesday’s Charter Market.

Each year, non-profit groups are invited to set-up shop at the market to raise funds and awareness. This year, groups included: 1st Thame Scout Group, Thame Green Living, Thame Inner Wheel, Red Kite Family Centre, Thame Children’s Choir, Citizen’s Advice, Sobell House, Sanctuary Care, Age UK, British Red Cross, and Cancer Research.

Market organiser, Chris Hurdman also raised £150 on the day towards his January 2025 attempt to summit Aconcagua for Helen & Douglas House and REACT Disaster Response.
