Mayor Attends Visually Impaired Bowls Match
Thame Mayor, Cllr Andy Gilbert visited the Thame Bowls Club on Saturday 22 September for one of the Club’s visually impaired matches. The Mayor met with club President, Les Canfield, and Chairman, Bill Giles.
The outdoor season ends this month, but the indoor short-mat season runs from October to April. The Club has two mats which are normally available on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday for games and matches.
Thame Bowls Club is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Bowlers of all abilities are invited to take part. Anyone interested should head to the Thame Bowls Club website.
