MP Joins Campaign Against Concrete Crushing Facility

The MP for Henley and Thame, Freddie van Mierlo, recently met with local councillors and residents to discuss concerns over the proposed concrete crushing facility at Moorend Lane.

The Lea Park Residents’ Association is calling for local support to stop a permanent aggregate and soil recycling facility from being built on land directly behind the sewerage works.

Mr van Mierlo said, ‘I’ll be joining local residents on 29th September at their planned demonstration, and attending the planning meeting with Oxfordshire County Council in October.’

The demonstration will take place at the Skate Park from 10.30am on Sunday 29 September.
