Thame Town Council Objects to Two Major Planning Applications
At its Full Council meeting on 19 November 2024, Thame Town Council considered two major planning applications:
- Amended scheme for 120 homes (reduced from 154) at Land North of Oxford Road (P23/S4262/FUL)
- Outline application for up to 75 dwellings for over 55s on Land to the east of Howland Road and south of Kingsey Road (P24/S3132/O)
Thame Town Council objected to both applications, and full details of the objections will be available in the minutes, which should be available in our newsletter next week.
The next step will be for South Oxfordshire District Council to consider the consultation responses received. The applicants for each application will then either submit amended plans for further consultation, withdraw, or the application will go to SODC’s Planning Committee where there will be an opportunity for residents and the Town Council to make further representation.
If anyone wishes to comment on either application, this can be done via SODC’s website using the links above.
