Cadets Recognised for Local Achievement

On Tuesday 17th December, Thame Town Council’s Community Services Manager, Cassie Pinnells, on behalf of the Mayor, presented members of the Oxfordshire Army Cadet Force, Thame Division with Certificates of Appreciation for their assistance at the recent Thame Remembrance service.

Corporal Amelie Rucker, Cadet Jasper Robertson, and Cadet Jed Kirtland were responsible for reading out the 30 additional names which were added to the War Memorial in June.

Cassie’s visit coincided with the group’s Christmas party. The Thame Division usually meet on Tuesdays at Windmill Road. Anyone interested in joining can find more information on their website.
