Thame Branch of the Royal British Legion Appoints New President

The Thame Branch of the Royal British Legion has appointed David Midwinter as its new President.
David is well known to many in Thame and was a popular choice for the role.
Local Chairman Roger Mackriell said, “I am delighted David has accepted this role. He and his family are longstanding supporters of the British Legion, and I am certain he will continue our record of worthy presidents, most recently John Hussey and Robert Bartlett who both played a full part in the branch activities.
“David has made it clear he wants to uphold the importance of Remembrance, and ensure Thame Royal British Legion continues to play its part in raising funds to provide lifelong support to the Armed Forces Community.”
