Thame Farewells Local Singer

Many residents and weekly visitors to the Tuesday Charter Market will be saddened to learn of the sudden death of Michael Hodges who serenaded shoppers several times a year at the market.
Often supported by choir members from Village Voices Towersey, Michael would serenade passers-by with Sinatra ballads and rousing sing-along songs. He also raised money for both the Senior Friendship Club and the Forget-Me-Knot Café, and was known to many traders.
The Thame Charter Market and Thame Town Council offer sincere condolences to his family.
