Roadworks in Thame

Thame residents have been voicing their concerns and venting their frustrations on social media in recent days over the amount of roadworks currently underway in the town.

The Information Centre has received numerous calls regarding the roadworks, especially those at Priest End.

On contacting Oxfordshire County Council, we have learned that Councillor Kate Gregory (OCC, Thame & Chinnor division) advised that it might have been more practical to delay the Priest End works until those on the A418 were completed. While her suggestion was not implemented, we have been assured that Ms Gregory will continue to advocate for better coordination in future projects.
