False Claims from New Facebook Group

A new public Facebook Group emerged this week going by the name ‘Cuttlebrook Dog Walkers’. On its ‘about’ page, the group claims that, “Thame Town Council have plans to ban dogs and walking in Cuttlebrook…”

Thame Town Council advises that this claim is untrue. We do not have plans to ban dogs from the reserve. We have previously reported on the Rycote Meadow Project which is an extension to the Cuttle Brook. Rycote Meadow will be bordered by the Cuttle Brook on its eastern side and by Oxford Road on the south. It is this new extension that will not be open to dogs or people.
