New Signage at Cuttle Brook

In an effort to curb anti-social behaviour on the Nature Reserve, Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) signs have been erected at the main entrances to Cuttle Brook and Rycote Meadow, as requested by the Thame Neighbourhood Policing Team (TNPT)

Public Spaces Protection Orders (PSPO) are a measure to stop individuals or groups committing anti social behaviour (ASB) in public places. A PSPO can:

  • Prohibit specified things being done in the area
  • Require specified things to be done in the area
In Thame, PSPO signs are also located at the Southern Road Recreational Ground, including the play area; the cricket field, skate park, Elms Park, and town centre.

Enforcement of PSPOs is delegated to the Police (and District Council officers, if appropriate). More information about Thame’s PSPOs is available on this downloadable PDF.
