Thame Town Council has a Vacancy

Due to the resignation of Nigel Champken-Woods, and a by-election not being triggered, a vacancy has arisen in the North Ward for Thame Town Council.

The vacancy will be filled by co-option – this means anyone who meets the criteria can apply to be a councillor on Thame Town Council. The council will consider the applications and vote to co-opt the new Councillor at a Full Council meeting. The successful candidate will serve for the remaining term of office, until May 2027.

• The Role Description and Person Specification – to ensure you understand what being a Town Councillor involves

Then, please complete the Application Form available on our website or from the Town Hall.

Please return your completed application form by 5pm on Monday 21 April 2025 via email (info@thametowncouncil.gov.uk) or to the Town Hall.

All applicants will be invited to attend the Full Council meeting on Tuesday 29 April 2025 at 6.30pm in the Town Hall, Thame, at which applications will be considered and an applicant co-opted.
