A New Season of Midsomer Walking Tours

Midsomer tour guides outside Thame Town Hall (aka Causton Town Hall)

The ever-popular Thame Midsomer Walking Tours have returned for the 2025 season.

Thame is one of the most-filmed Midsomer Murders locations, sometimes appearing as Causton, sometimes as one of the many picturesque villages in Midsomer County. The walking tours take in 23 of the series’ filming locations. Guests are also treated to fascinating snippets about Thame’s history, from its ancient Neanderthal remains to the English Civil War and Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee.

Midsomer Walking Tours commence at 2pm each Wednesday from outside Thame Town Hall (aka Causton Town Hall) and take approx. 75 minutes. There will also be Saturday tours from 21 June – 13 September. Tickets are £10 each, available online, at Thame Town Hall Information Centre, by phone 01844 2128 33, and at Thame Museum.
