Candidates Announced

Candidates standing in the upcoming Oxfordshire County Council election on 1 May have been announced.
Following a boundary change, Thame is now represented at County Council level by two divisions – ‘Thame’ and ‘Chalgrove and Thame West’, rather than the former ‘Thame and Chinnor’ division. The ‘Chalgrove and Thame West’ division will incorporate those living west of Cuttle Brook, including Moreton, Chiltern Vale estate, and Bloor Oxford Road estate.
Standing in the ‘Chalgrove and Thame West’ division will be:
- Nick Breakspear, Green Party
- Judith Edwards, Liberal Democrats
- Neil Garrod, Reform UK
- Caroline Newton, Local Conservatives
- Martin Stott, Labour and Cooperative Party
Standing in the ‘Thame’ division will be:
- Kate Gregory, Liberal Democrats
- Sue Martin-Downhill, Green Party
- Adrian Reynolds, Reform UK
- William Wilde, Local Conservatives
- Klaudia Zaporowska, Labour Party
Register to Vote
To vote in the upcoming election on Thursday 1 May 2025, you must register by 11:59pm on Friday 11 April 2025 gov.uk/register-to-vote
Those wishing to submit a postal vote, must register to do so before 5pm on Monday 14 April 2025 gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
Polling in the Oxfordshire County Council election will take place on Thursday 1 May between the hours of 7am and 10pm.
