Mayor’s Charity Ball Raises Almost £3k

On Saturday 5 April, 160 guests converged on the Chinnor Rugby Club for the Mayor’s Charity Ball. Mayor, Cllr Andy Gilbert was MC for the night, which included entertainment from Wendover band Counting Colours, local DJ Mark Fellowes (who provided his services for free), and Oxford magician John Hayns.

Silent auction prizes were generously donated by ASM, Your Dentist in Thame, Kubota, CRFC, Chester Bentley, MP Sports, AC Picture Frame Service, Thame Cycles, Domino Menswear, Little Shop of Cheese, Jez March, and Sharon Smits.

Raffle prizes were kindly donated by ASM, The Black Horse, Pad Thai at The Rising Sun, Massage Matters, Racquets Fitness Centre, Thame Players Theatre, The Book House, Monera, Umberto’s, and Sharon Smits.

The event was a huge success which was enjoyed by all. Almost £3k was raised for the mayor’s charities through the auction and raffle on the night.
