thame historical society
Thame Historical Society was formed to bring together people who are interested in all aspects of history, especially Thame. This includes its architecture, the origins of field and street names, its people and their family connections, etc., as well as the more famous families of Lord Williams, John Hampden and the history of Thame Park, St Mary's Church, and the Prebendal. Thame Historical Society meetings are held in The Barns Centre, Church Road, Thame at 7.30pm. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month with the exception of the meeting in December which is on the first Tuesday. There is no meeting in August, but visits are made to local historical houses during the summer months. Annual membership is £10.00, visitors are welcome on payment of £2. Donations of any Thame-related material (photographs, documents, books, etc.) are always welcome.   Is this your listing?
