The Stones Close Allotments Society was formed in October 2008 after Thame Town Council took over the tenancy from the Thame and District Allotment Society. The allotments at Stones Close have been part of the Thame community since 1937 and have been enjoying a revival of interest, as people want to grow their own fruit and vegetables.
