Cricket Clubhouse update – September
Thame Town Cricket Club and Sports Clubhouses have published a project update for September regarding the new Cricket Clubhouse in Thame:
The timber frame team have installed the external barn doors which just require final painting and have commenced the soffit works. The stonework is almost complete with all lintels in place and just the top stonework left to install. The lintels being installed has enabled the final doors and windows to all be installed.
All bodpave works have been completed minus the top stone finish. The materials for this are on site ready to be installed. The service trench and infrastructure works for the gas have been completed and the BT ducting has been supplied so that this can be installed to the top of the gas trench. There is just the final additional BT trenching to install back towards the Aylesbury Road roundabout so that all main service trenching can be completed.
Internally the building has been fully plastered and then mist coated. This has enabled the electricians to make significant progress second fixing with the majority of power point and lighting now on. The plumbers have also commenced second fixing sanitary ware. The screeding has also been completed to the ground floor.
The asbestos survey was undertaken to the existing building and no asbestos was found on any of the samples which will enable the demolitions to commence as scheduled.
