8 For Information
a) Amended Plans – P22/S2298/HH – 38 Croft Road – Single storey ground floor rear extension and loft conversion and extension. (As amended by plans received 14 October 2022).
To note that having reviewed the amended plans, Officers consider that they would not change the Town Council’s recommendation made on 5 July 2022 to support the application plus response.
b) Planning Committee Notification – P22/S2932/LB – Wall between No. 104 & 105 High Street – Creation of new opening at the first floor level between 104 & 105 High Street to allow for increased covers for Caffe Gloria.
To note the District Planning Committee will consider this application on Wednesday 2 November 2022. The Case Officer’s recommendation to Committee is to refuse permission. The Town Council supported the application on 6 September 2022 subject to no objection from the District Conservation Officer. The Conservation Officer subsequently objected.
The Town Council has been invited to attend and Cllr Gilbert will provide representation.
c) Planning Committee Notification – P22/S2416/FUL and P22/S2417/LB – Town Farm 8 Oxford Road – Following previous renovation works to No.8 to create No.6, formal approval required for No.6 to be a separate dwelling.
To note the District Planning Committee will consider these applications on Wednesday 2 November 2022. The Case Officer’s recommendation to Committee is to grant permission. The Town Council objected to the application on 26 July 2022 on the grounds of not supporting the subdivision of the listed building, inadequate provision of private outdoor amenity space, and poor highways safety.
The Town Council has been invited to attend and Cllr Gilbert will provide representation.
d) Street Naming Notification – Erection of 6 new residential dwellings to be street named and numbered: 8A, 8B and 8C Robin Gibb Road, and 1,2 & 3 Quartermain Court, Thame, OX9 3FD
e) Additional Information – P22/S3259/HH – 24 Onslow Drive – A full garage conversion of the integral garage. (as shown on amended plans and additional information received 25th October 2022)
To note that having reviewed the additional information, Officers consider that it would not alter the Town Council’s recommendation of No Objection made on 27 September 2022.
f) Withdrawn Application – P22/S3340/FUL – Avon House, 82 Wellington Street – Demolition of existing building and erection of 5 x 1 bedroom flats.
