Thame Community Christmas update
Thame Community Christmas would like to give a huge shout out to the generous members of our community in Thame!
First up, the extraordinary Gary Garrett MBE, retired RAF Squadron Leader, aged 101. He got in touch to offer a donation. It was a great pleasure to meet him, hear some of his stories and learn a couple of card tricks to boot! Thank you, Gary for your generosity.
Next, Sarah and Jane who run the flower stall at the Town Hall, no matter the weather! This marvellous sibling pair save their tips every year to contribute towards gifts to give to the CCT Lunch guests. Thank you both for your generosity.
What makes someone decide to be so giving? Who knows, but thank goodness for people like this, who go above and beyond to help others less fortunate.
If you would like to make a donation to help fund the CCT Lunch this year, please go to their Just Giving page
If you would like to donate a gift (smellies, knitted hat, scarf, gloves, nut free chocolates etc), please drop them into the Town Hall No alcohol, please.
