LGBT+ History Month Medicine- #UnderTheScope

Did you know that February is LGBT+ History Month? The theme for 2024 is Medicine-#UnderTheScope, to celebrate LGBT+ peoples’ contribution to the field of Medicine and Healthcare both historically and today.
Thame Town Council would like to thank the amazing work of the LGBT+ staff across the NHS and other healthcare teams, especially throughout the pandemic and the changing times over recent years.  

Those who identfy as LGBT+ still experience a rise in hate crime, therefore we invite you to take a look #UnderTheScope to listen, learn and appreciate the LGBT+ community.
