7) For Information

a) To note the minutes of the Thame Conservation Area Conservation Committee’s meeting on 24 May 2024.

 

b) Notification of Certificate of Adoption (Highways) – Former DAF Truck Site, Howland Road

To note that Oxfordshire County Council have adopted the following works at Howland Road as highway maintainable at the public expense from 5 April 2024: Realignment of existing entrance kerb lines and associated drainage and footway works, including formation of new tactile crossing.

 

c) Committee Notifications & Contrary Decision – P24/S0433/FUL – Unit 8, Goodson Industrial Mews, Wellington Street – Change of use of existing storage/light industrial unit from B8 to E(D).

To note that the above planning application was considered at SODC’s planning committee on 14 May 2024. The Town Council submitted a written statement due to this meeting clashing with its own Annual Meeting.

To further note that planning permission was granted on 14 May 2024, contrary to the Town Council’s recommendation to object made on 12 March 2024 and 9 April 2024.

 

d) Lawful Development Application – P24/S1463/LDP – Rycote Meadow, Oxford Road – Certificate of Lawfulness for the proposed construction of an all weather unsealed surfaced footpath, with a finished width of 1.2m to include approximately 14m of boardwalk from Oxford Road access point to the northern boundary of the meadow and modify existing access arrangements.

To note that the application seeks confirmation from the Local Planning Authority that the proposed development is lawful and therefore they are unable to take any comments on the planning merits of the proposal into account. If any Councillor has specific concerns, please be prepared to raise them at the meeting.

 

e) To note the Conversion of part of office building to 2 commercial units and 9 residential flats including the removal of commercial addresses: 2 St Andrews Court, Purple Frog Studios Ltd., 3 St Andrews Court, 4 St Andrews Court, Accessible Orthodontics, 5 St Andrews.
