1 Appointment of Chairman

To receive nominations for Chairman of the Committee.

 

2 Appointment of Deputy Chairman

To receive nominations for Deputy Chairman of the Committee.

 

3 Apologies for Absence

 

4 Declarations of Interest and Dispensations

To notify of any items that appear in the agenda in which there may be an interest that has not been recorded in the Member’s Register of Interest; and confirmation of any relevant dispensations.

5 Public Participation and Public Questions

To consider applications from members of the public to address the Committee (5 minutes maximum), in respect of any item of business included in the agenda. Applications to speak must have been received by the Town Clerk no later than 5pm on the last working day preceding the meeting.

To consider questions from members of the public (who live, work or run a business in the Parish). Written questions must have been received by the Town Clerk no later than 4pm on the last working day preceding the meeting.

6 Terms of Reference

To consider any proposed modifications to the Terms of Reference as agreed at the Council meeting on 28 July 2015.

 

7 Discussion of Inputs

Following an appeal by the Town Clerk in late August, suggestions on the way forward have been received from 3 Councillors. The original set of proposed discussion topics, as presented at 23 June 2015 Council meeting is also still largely relevant. To discuss those further inputs, with a view to prioritising key actions and allocating responsibilities to other Standing Committees.

 

8 Initial Consideration of Working Groups

Based on discussions to date, to make suggestions for appropriate Working Groups to be created, and establish lead Councillors in each case to assist progress.

 

9 Progress Report

Six monthly progress monitoring reports have been produced by the Town Council in various formats, with the last one produced in May 2015. To consider how the next report, now due, is produced.
