Thame Youth Memorial Re-Opens

Thame Youth Memorial has advised that its refurbishment is complete and the site has now re-opened.

Over 21 hours of volunteer time went into the careful cleaning and hand-painting and enamel coating of the lettering. Natural stone paving has been replaced with an anti-slip porcelain tile which will not allow anything to soak into it, providing a safer environment and one which is easier for the volunteer workforce to keep clean on an ongoing basis. The engraved stones have been deep cleaned and treated with an anti-slip treatment.

Thame Town Council would also like to thank Chevron Traffic Management for providing a safe working compound for the works and for passers-by.
