You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Personnel Committee on Monday 23 September 2024 at 3:00pm (maximum two hours) in the Meeting Room (Thame Town Hall) for the transaction of business as set out on the attached agenda.

AGENDA
1) Apologies for Absence
To receive, note and agree apologies for absence.
2) Declarations of Interest and Dispensations
To notify of any items that appear in the agenda in which there may be an interest that has not been recorded in the Member’s Register of Interest, and confirmation of any relevant dispensations.
3) Public Participation and Public Questions
To consider applications from members of the public to address the Committee (5 minutes maximum), in respect of any item of business included in the agenda. Applications to speak must have been received by the Town Clerk no later than 5pm on the last working day preceding the meeting.
To consider questions from members of the public (who live, work, or run a business in the Parish). Written questions must have been received by the Town Clerk no later than 4pm on the last working day preceding the meeting.
4) Minutes
To confirm as a correct record the Minutes of the Committee Meeting held on 8 April 2024.
5) Exclusion of the Public
To move: That under Section 1, Paragraph 2 of The Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business because publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
6) Staff Training
a) To receive presentations from staff who have completed or partially completed CPD Training.

- Committee Services & Processes Officer
b) To note that in line with Thame Town Council’s Equality Objectives staff will be taking part in a morning of equality and diversity training, provided by our HR and H&S consultants Moorepay.
c) To receive an update on Thursday morning staff meeting / training.
7) Flexi Time Policy
To receive an update on the Flexi Time consultation and revised policy and consider any recommendations.
8) Staffing Costs and Gradings
To note the new maintenance assistant joined Thame Town Council on 16 September 2024 following the resignation of the previous post holder.
To note the progress regarding the cost-of-living increase for 2023-24.
To consider the budget proposal for the 2025-26 staff costs and to make a recommendation to take to the Budget Working Group and the Full Council.
9) Annual Appraisal
To receive an update on the annual appraisal process.
10) Staffing Matters
To receive an update on staffing matters and consider any recommendations.
