Thame Players Return to Christmas Switch-On

We are delighted to welcome back the Thame Players to this year’s Christmas Lights Switch-On event.

The Players have always been a crowd favourite and we have it on good authority that they will be treating us to a panto favourite! 

The Thame Concert Band will be performing from 6pm, while local singer, Phiippa Mummery has a couple of Christmas favourites we can all sing along to. Everybody’s favourite hosts, Paddy & Anthony will keep us entertained throughout the night, while Santa and his Elves will be on hand to see who’s being naughty and nice! Once again, we have Lightfoots Solicitors to thank for providing the stage, sound, and lighting for this year’s event.

There are other businesses to thank too, including Thame Cars, who have kindly donated two children’s rides – a Helter Skelter and Chair Ride, and Your Dentist in Thame who have supplied this year’s Selfie Station – make sure you grab a photo outside the Town Hall.

There’ll be plenty of street food from the StrEat Meet vendors, or pick up some stocking fillers from one of our Christmas stalls. 

On Saturday, 30 November, be sure to pay Santa a visit at Santa’s Grotto. Lucy Electric have kindly donated lots of gifts for Santa to hand out on the day. And while you’re there, pop upstairs to the Christmas Charities Fair. The Grotto is open from 10am-4pm, the Charities Fair from 10am-2pm.
