Assisted Reading for Children (ARCh)

Description: Registered charity which recruits trains and supports volunteers from the community and local businesses to impart a love of reading to children in primary schools to improve their lives at school and beyond. Children benefit from twice weekly ARCh sessions for one year, sharing books, games and conversation with their volunteer. It is a life enhancing experience for children and volunteers alike.
