    Thame Town Council has started work on setting its budget for 2019-20 and will be agreeing that budget at the Council meeting on 22 January 2019. The average household (i.e. Band D) currently contributes £2.90 per week (through the precept portion of Council Tax) towards the funding of all the projects, functions and services that Thame Town Council provides for the community.     VILLAGE VOICES is a community singing group. We sing all types of songs from all over the world- traditional, folk, pop, ballads, gospel, jazz, blues…. you name it we try it! We learn these songs by listening and copying, from simple rounds and chants to glorious harmony singing, songs from a wide range of musical traditons, all made wonderful through our voices and sung a cappella (that means no accompaniment to you and me!).   • Town Flag winner chosen

    Thame Town Council recently held a community town flag competition, which produced 33 different designs from a range of people within Thame. At the Annual Meeting, on 9 May, Thame Town Council chose the winning design from a shortlist of 4 designs. They were really impressed with all of the designs and thanked everyone who entered. The winning flag was designed by Hazel Mann, and was chosen for its modern design which best reflected the attributes of Thame.
