Thame Public Art Brief

Below is our current Public Art Brief.

Art Leading Wayfinding

We are seeking creative expressions of interest for a series of wayfinding markers across the Town. This commission should celebrate the heritage and history of Thame using the theme of ‘Meeting Places’, at the same time as improving communication routes through the town. We are also keen to explore several pieces of standalone artwork -some with practical application – in various set locations around the Town that allow increased exploration of the heritage of these specific areas. We are looking for an artist (but would also consider a group of artists) who can also demonstrate successful experience of bringing the community together in the development of final designs. We will consider applications responding to all or to smaller parts of the brief.

Please note that we will require the successful candidate/s to have a minimum of £2 million Public Liability Insurance in place.
