THAME TOWN COUNCIL

Minutes of the Meeting of Thame Town Council held on 13 November 2020 at 4:00pm by Zoom Conference Call.

1 Apologies for Absence

There were no apologies for absence. Cllr Tipping was absent without apology.

All Members who were present were able to be seen and be heard.

2 Declarations of Interest and Dispensations

There were no declarations of interest.

3 Public Participation and Public Questions

There were no applications to address the Council.
There were no public questions put to the Council.

4 Exclusion of the Press and Public

MOVED:

1. That under Section 1, Paragraph 2 of The Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business because publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

5 Thame Football Club

The report was noted. The Acting Town Clerk explained the current situation with the Thame Football Partnership Artificial 3G Pitch project. The Acting Town Clerk sought support from Members to continue the peppercorn rent in place with the Football Partnership and explained the possible legal / financial outcomes.

RESOLVED that:

1. The continued peppercorn rent to the Thame Football Partnership be approved.

The meeting concluded at 4:42pm.
