Minutes of the Virtual Meeting of Thame Town Council held on 4 May 2020 at 10am by Zoom Conference Call.

1 Apologies for Absence

Cllr Tipping was absent without apology.

 
2 Declarations of Interest and Dispensations

Cllr Deacock declared a pecuniary interest in Agenda Item 4 – Legal Advice and abstained from voting on this item. A dispensation was in place to allow Cllr Deacock to remain in the meeting during this item.

 
3 Exclusion of the Press and Public

RESOLVED that:

i)             Under Section 1, Paragraph 2 of The Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business because publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

 
4 Legal Advice

Cllrs Bretherton and Gregory entered the meeting during this item.

RESOLVED that:

i)             The Town Council proceed with the challenge to the appeal decision.

The meeting concluded at 11:10am.
