To notify of any items that appear in the agenda in which there may be an interest that has not been recorded in the Member’s Register of Interest, and confirmation of any relevant dispensations.

To receive an update and consider any relevant actions.

To submit comments for inclusion in Thame Town Council’s official response to the Buckinghamshire LCWIP consultation to the EPO no later than 30th September 2024.

To approve the Terms of Reference for The Community Bus Working Group.

To approve the Terms of Reference for the newly formed LCWIP Working Group.

6) Consultation – Subsidised bus service contracts terminating in March 2025

Oxfordshire County Council are seeking views on current and potential future provision of bus services in advance of the procurement (March 2025) of the new contracts for the following services affecting Thame:

  • Service 126: Watlington to Thame via Chalgrove, Stadhampton, Little Milton, the Haseleys, Great Milton and Moreton (Tuesday and Thursday)
  • Service 127: Watlington to Thame via Lewknor, South Weston, Postcombe, Tetsworth and Milton Common (Tuesday and Thursday)

To agree a response to submit to Oxfordshire County Council.

  1. Elms Road parking restrictions – Approved (TTC supported)
  2. Amended 20mph speed limits – Partially approved. 20mph will be introduced on Kingsey Road and Oxford Road but Chinnor Road and Aylesbury Road will remain as 30mph.

f) Lawful Development Application – P24/S2794/LDP – 56 Youens Drive – Certificate of Lawfulness for the proposed construction of rear dormer plus roof window on front roof slope.

To note that the application seeks confirmation from the Local Planning Authority that the proposed development is lawful and therefore they are unable to take any comments on the planning merits of the proposal into account. If any Councillor has specific concerns, please be prepared to raise them at the meeting.
