The Minutes of the meeting held on 10 June 2014 were confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

6 Underground Drilling Access
Members agreed that the following response be sent to the National Association of Local Councils:
i) That the Town Council should be consulted (notified) when underground drilling applications were submitted for land within the town boundary as they were best placed to represent the resident’s views and provide real democratic representation in such cases.
ii) That the Town Council would be the most appropriate relevant community body.
iii) That the one off payment of £20,000 was derisory.
iv) That any payment in return for the right should be made directly to the Town Council.
7 Culham Science Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)
Members were made aware of the consultation by South Oxfordshire District Council with regard to the Culham Science Centre Supplementary Planning Document and urged to respond directly via the web link www.southoxon.gov.uk/spds.
8 Reports from Town Council Representatives
a) Transport Representative – Cllr Stiles – nothing to report.
