To receive a verbal update from the Neighbourhood Plan Continuity Officer (NPCO) following a meeting with the developer regarding amended plans for this application.

To consider delegating the Town Council’s response to the NPCO, if the amended plans cannot be considered at the next available meeting.

The Town Council is not a statutory consultee, but if any Councillor has specific concerns, please be prepared to raise them in the meeting.

 

c) Amended & Additional Plans – P23/S3684/HH – Oak Tree House, Moreton Lane – Proposed 2-storey side extension to the existing house, 2-storey front extension, 2-storey/single-storey rear extension, loft conversion, single storey rear pool room extension, and single storey side extension with accommodation in the roof space. Detached garage (Location and Block plan revised and detached garage included to proposal as shown on amended plans received 28 November 2023).

To note that having reviewed the amended plans, Officers consider that it would not change the Town Council’s recommendation to support the application plus comments made on 21 November 2023.

 

d) Amended Plans – 12 Arnold Way – P23/S3099/HH– Single storey rear extension and conversion of garage. (amended plans depicting parking arrangements for site, received 10th November 2023 and as amended by red line plan received 06 December 2023)

To note that having reviewed the additional information, it would not change the Town Council’s recommendation to support subject to no objection from the District’s Forestry Officer made on 17 October 2023.

 

e) SODC Planning Committee Notifications

To note that the following three planning applications will be considered at SODC’s planning committee on 20 December 2023. Town Council representation is being progressed via email. In all cases TTC is objecting and the case officer is recommending approval.

  • 2-6 Whizzkidz Ltd Jefferson Way – P23/S2058/FUL (as amended) – Change of use of existing building, Children`s indoor playground E(d) to part retail unit E(a) and part Children`s Nursery E(f). Single storey extension. Recladding of building including new widows and roof. (Planning Statement received 20 September 2023 and amended plans received 24 October 2023).
  • Yeats Lodge, Greyhound Lane – P23/S3032/A – 5 x flag poles, 1 x monolith, 2 x micro monolith, 4 x hanging signs; and various other signage (Retrospective).
