a) P20/S2661/HH – Contrary Decision – Hampden House, Moreton – Detached Pool Building. (As amplified by Noise Impact Assessment received 29 September 2020).
To note the District Planning Authority granted planning permission on 6 November 2020. The Town Council Objected on 25 August 2020 and 27 October 2020 on the grounds of impact on neighbouring amenity.
b) P19/S0480/FUL – Contrary Decision – Thame Service Station, Long Crendon Road – Two Drive Thru (A1, A3, A5) Pods with associated landscaping, hardstanding and other associated works.
To note the District Planning Committee granted planning permission on 23 October 2020. The Town Council Objected on 12 March 2019 on the grounds of Loss of HGV parking and coach parking.
c) P20/S3268/FUL – Contrary Decision – Racquets Fitness Centre, North Street – Reinstatement of Self-Contained Managers Flat through change of use of part of existing gym/store.
To note the District Planning Authority granted planning permission on 11 November 2020. The Town Council Objected on 6 October 2020 on the grounds of poor quality of living for future occupiers due to poor internal amenity space and lack of natural light.
d) P20/S3863/PDH – 14 Hopton Road – Single storey rear extension. Extension extend – 4.30 Height – 3.30 Height at the eaves – 2.95.
The Local Planning Authority has stated it is unable to take any comments but if any Councillor has specific concerns please be prepared to raise them in the meeting.
e) To note that, due to a 4-day consultation period ending 30 October 2020, the committee has considered the Pavement Licence Application at Rumsey’s Handmade Chocolates, 8 Upper High Street, via e-mail and raised no objections.
f) P20/S4045/T28 – Thame Fire Station, Nelson Street – Replacement of three antennas at 14.4m on the Fire Station roof. The installation of a cabinet and associated ancillary equipment at ground level within the existing demise.

g) P20/S4100/LDP – 21 Maple Road – Certificate of Lawful Development for a proposed single storey rear infill extension.

i) To note that following the Consultation on Proposed Disabled Persons Parking Bays (DPPP), which the Town Council raised no objections to on 4 August 2020, Officers at the County Council are recommending at the Cabinet Member for Environment (including Transport) Decisions meeting on 19 November 2020 that the proposal at Fleetwood Way, Thame, be deferred for further investigation following concerns raised by local residents.
j) P20/S3163/FUL – Amendments No.1 and 2 – 3a Wenman Road – Change of Use to Class B8, Storage & Distribution with Ancillary Trade Counter (As per amended parking and turning areas submitted 15 October 2020 and vehicle tracking paths submitted 12 November 2020).
To note that having reviewed the amendments, it is the Officer’s view that they would not alter the Town Council’s recommendation made on 6 October 2020 to Support the application subject to no objection from the County Highways Officer.
